Game Deals: 50% off Fallout 3 PC, other deals included
- July 02, 2009 00:00 AM PST
The Independence Day weekend sales have begun, with Steam offering Fallout 3 for $25.
The much beloved Fallout 3 can now be yours for $25 thanks to the team at Steam. But, the deal only lasts this weekend and is exclusive for the PC version only. So, if you've got a PC and have yet to pick up Fallout 3, nows the best time to nab it, as the game usually goes for $50.
However, this deal does not include any of the $10 downloadable expansions, so those with the virtue of patience may want to wait until October, when a $50 Game of the Year bundle will be released, which will include the main game with its five downloadable add-ons.
Other deals worth notice include the X-Com Complete Pack for $7.50 at GamersGate and Call of Duty: World at War PC for $35 at Direct2Drive. There are some other good deals happening on Impulse, including $30 Sins of the Solar Empire/Expansion Bundle, $30 Prince of Persia, and free copies of Red Faction 1 and 2 with a pre-order of Red Faction: Guerrilla.

Maybe I should just go ahead and get fallout 3 for the PC instead of waiting 8 years for the DLC to come out on the PS3
