Sony partners with Marvel, IDW Publishing, and Disney to bring comic books to the PSP.

The PSP firmware update v6.20 included a digital comics reader application that you can find under the "extras" icon on the cross media bar. Starting today, you'll be able to download comic books from Marvel, IDW Publishing (they publisher Transformers and G.I. Joe comic books, among others) and Disney. Individual comics are $1.99 or $0.99 each, and typically 20 to 30 pages in length. Comics can be downloaded directly to the PSP itself, or you can download them on your PC and sync them to your PSP using Sony's MediaGo software.

The comics store will be updated every week, and you can check out the current catalog here. The PSN digital comics service has a Twitter feed that you can follow here.

Nah. THank you very much Sony but I'll stick with the OLD way of comic book distribution- via print. they're SO much more profitable as some becomes collector's items and you can sell them at a much higher price IF you know your stuff. =)

I agree with your OLD way of comics comment. Cant haul the tv and the PS3 into the shitter with you. Thats where I get my best reading done.

Having a bunch of comic books laying around is a pain. Especially when my girlfriend comes by lol. I'm not into E-readers but this sounds like a pretty good idea.
