Legalizing Cannabis and Theory's of Goverment Propaganda.

Think about this. What if there was a drug that has little to no health risks(when used properly), makes you feel good about yourself, can be used for weight loss, you can't OD, and its all natural. Well guess what, there is! Cannabis.

Yes its true, Cannabis is all of these things. Back in the 50's-70's when Cannabis became popular in that time frame the government found that it made people act different and change usually spiritually and such. Well the government wasn't for change and they decided to test the drug and found that it had no real harmful effects on the body and such so they decided to make people think that there was. This threw a lot of people into an panic and made people think that if they used cannabis that they would turn into a crazy person and that everyone would hate them.

This was not the case in any way and some people knew this. They continued to use the drug regularly and were cast aside by society. These people were generally called hippies. just because they were different the government didn't like them very much and tried to do something about it. Then there were all of those recockulous(new word) programs like Refer Madness and the such came from. they were government funded to scare people into not every trying the substance.It made people think that they would kill someone, or overdose(which is impossible), and that they would go insane as stated before.

This worked on some people which is quite sad but eventually people actually did some research and found out that it was a crock of lies. Now on to the legalization of cannabis. think about it. since it has little to no harmful effects why not legalize it and put some rules on it? You must be over 18, you can not drive while under the influence, and you can only have a certain amount. Think about what would happen it it was legalized and became a mass market like alcohol. Its a much safer alternative, could turn alot of people away from harder drugs, drug dealers would be put out of business because someone would much rather just go and buy some from a store than go to a shady drug dealer who might end up killing them, and think of how much money it would put back into the economy. if they would tax at like 10 cents a gram and the demand would be quite high i think that in the next 15 years we might be able to eliminate a good bit of debt from out country. Not to mention how many jobs would open up.

I don't see how our government doesn't see this. i supposed that its just that they are like they have always been. They don't want you to do anything they wouldn't do or they think they aren't supposed to do. They want you to be just like them. walking drones marching in a straight line all your life. A perfect citizen. now that my rant is over what do you think? and i will probably add more to this later.
